Rich Garden project : )

    To try and answer Kristen's question for you :) (if you can't see what's in other gardens around you) - you have alkaline soil so, in theory, not too good for Rhodos and Azaleas. Funnily enough, although alkaline soil, they don't seem to have too much trouble in this area (Rich garden lives near me :blue thumb:) but don't grow all that big or as showy as they are pictured in the books. You'll get a better result in big pots (with ericaceous compost) but if you don't have room for pots they'll survive in your soil.

    If you don't have room for pots they'll survive in pots [of Ericaceous soil] in your soil. :)

    Clematis in the front garden is really good at the moment. Not sure what one it is though

          Hi again everybody,

          Been away a while, had such a great day at shiney land last year but shortly after life changed a bit for me and I have been distracted since. Went out into the garden today for the first time this year and it reminded me of this forum! : ).
          My garden looks different now and will again this summer I hope as I need to build some sort of animal run. I think my garden is on the small side enough as it is but needs must.

          @shiney, hope your well and I get details to your open day again this year if you have one : )

            I have a new cat : ). He is indoor only. Come the summer though I want him to be able to lay in the sun and have some fresh air. So i was going to build him a run to play in during the day. He is a maine coon, very handsome indeed he is : )
