Daughter used to haul prepacked vegetables on a regular basis to most of the well known supermarkets. Best for the consumer not to see the conditions these are washed and packed in :rolleyespink:

So very true @Jiffy, Daughter had her eyes well and truly opened when she worked hauling vegetables and fresh meat.
She is not nearly as keen on eating meat as she used to be having visited abattoirs regularly or hauled what's known as "hanging lambs". It isn't just poo that lorry drivers have to clean out of their trailers.
I will not eat farmed Salmon as I know exactly what they are fed on:rolleyespink:.
Probably best not to know too much and live happily in blissful ignorance:)

But yes, it's all assured

one load (milling wheat for bread)i pick up had alot of dog poo in it, it got rejected and boy there was alot of stink about why it was rejected, the farmer just said it was the neighbours dog got into the shed, the neighbours was the local hunt :yikes:, under the farm assurance rules they shouldn't have got in there in the first place :th scifD36:
