I'm not sure whether it was a separation thing, he was mad all the time whether we were in or out. At times he was just like a child...... when a child is out of sight and goes quiet you know they are up to no good, he was exactly the same. Crates are a modern thing that I don't really agree with and I've not used one for any of my dogs.
i never used to think much of them tbh Sheal, i always thought of them as an unnecessary fad! but now that we've actually used one i cant help but see their merits, if used correctly they can be a superb training tool...one i honestly wish we'd had for our other boy & previous dogs in the past
awwww isn't be just soooo gorgeous& adorable & little & fluffy & sweet & pretty&........oh for goodness sake Sheal! stop taunting me with pictures of puppy gorgeous-ness will you i've a terrible longing for another pup as it is....your not helping me at all
Sorry Honeybunny! He really is cuddlesome isn't he? I'd love to have another dog as well, but other half is still saying no unfortunately. I'll have to make do with the pics of Riley.
he's absolutely gorgeous Sheal & unless my eyes deceive me...actually getting even more so as he gets older!
Riley has grown up since the last photo. Here he is feeling a bit sorry for himself having had a visit to the vets for you know what! Notice the type of collar they use in America to stop nibbling/licking, it looks much more comfortable than the 'lampshades' they use here.
Awww...bless the little fellowhe's a beauty.....those collars are much better than the Elizabethan affairs...i got one for Theo when he was 'seen to' it was ideal....The other type just freaked him out...
They're a good idea aren't they Loli, not having had a dog for five years I've not seen these before.
They're a marvelous idea Sheal...if only they were around when i had my old dog...he had an op and ended up with the 'lamp shade' type...he was more distressed about the collar than his wound ...it really disorientated him...so off it came and i spent many a sleepless night watching his every move....
You can buy those collars here now, here is a link for anyone interested. http://www.procollars.co.uk Val
