I have a few as well, found on our recent Cyprus holiday. We had a thread for signs here last year (or the year before?), I was going to look for it and tag mine on. Can't remember where it was though.

The English is clear enough to lorry drivers - but the Welsh reads "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated."

When officials asked for the Welsh translation of a road sign, they thought the reply was what they needed.

Unfortunately, the e-mail response to Swansea council said in Welsh: "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated".

And


The "cyclists dismount" sign between Penarth and Cardiff became "llid y bledren dymchwelyd" in Welsh - literally "bladder inflammation upset."

I got one sign sent me in an E-mail today and for a Hospital Maternity Unit which read: Please enter from the rear."
