Roadside rubbish

    I experienced something quite funny, although it was years before tv adverts saying take your litter home.

    I had taken my younger brother and his mate out to a fun park. So they would have been around 10 or 11 years old.

    My brother's friend, unbeknown to me had thrown out of the window a banana skin. We were traveling in a very slow moving convoy out of the park. This chap must have seen which window it came from..came running over with it and said to young Peter..."I think this is your's, you accidentally dropped it out of the window!!"

    I've never seen such a young 'beetroot face' in all my life. But this chap certainly got the message over, loud and clear, heh,heh.

    I saw a fastfood bag on Dartmoor the other day. Such a peaceful, natural place. I can't Imagen why somebody would have chosen to drive up there with a burger. The car must smell already, you might as well take the litter home!
