    I reckon they are the same seeds/trees but I may be wrong. :rolleyes:

    re son, to clarify, he is studying German and Spanish and as he only started Spanish at uni not at school he has to spend longer in a Spanish speaking country, Spain would have been better (for us ) we could have paid him a visit but not Bolivia! He will be working for a church and rehab centre as a volunteer so gets no income and he has had to fund raise to go there.

    Looks a bit like a Robinia, of some kind, to me.

    Am I surprised? Don't respond. Went back to my books and it could well be, pete ... Robinia pseudacacia, the False Acacia. [​IMG]

    Ler's see if strongy agrees ... and, does anyone want any now I have this cache of seed or perhaps a seedling?

    Who am I to disagree? ;) yes it does look like a Robinia, probably Pseudacacia.
