i did thanks, i've managed to commandeer a patch of the fiance's parents garden so i've been having fun! dug out a patch & planted my blueberry bush & raspberry canes, its hard work but by gosh does time fly, 6hrs i spent it only seemed like 3! I hear the A30 was a nightmare last week with a wagon getting stuck under the iron bridge, 5mile queues each way... what fun!! I dont suppose you were called to that one?! Dreckly thats a strange one, not heard that before, what context would that be used in?!

Cajary,I was only joking, sorry forgot about this thread. We are not into Rallying, too many outfits{Car+Caravan} and people.Don't worry we always travel when you workers are all asleep. We love the Isle Of White so probably look across to your part of the world. We can give you a wave next time we are over there. :D

I love horses,I have been riding them since I was three and have already had my feet flattened and been bitten once by one,so they don't frighten me

Hi Kandy. Yeah, I knew you were joking. The I.O.W. is very nice we often take the bikes across and just have a ride round. Very friendly natives as well, a bit better than here.
I'm glad you're not worried about the ponies but some of the tourists give them apples which they quite happily munch on then they bite whoever gave them the food, most unfriendly.
If you ship ou thro' Lymington, we can have a pint on the Quay! All the best

Hi Cajary,We have never been down to your neck of the woods for a holiday,so you won't have any problem from us. [IMG]

We love the IOW,and have been over about six times. We love the coastal walks, forests, downs, fossil hunting ,walking, birdwatching, wild flowers, visiting the pubs etc.If I had my way I would like to live over there, but my hubby says we would have to catch the ferry every time we wanted to come off of the Island, but I would be quite happy never leaving.I would like to be buried over on the Island in the green burial site when I pop me clogs :D :D

Never been to Lymington, but often watch the ferry's going backwards and forwards...happy days

    Typical,
You post a friendly 'off on hols' post, clear off to the foriegn and while you are away your post gets highjacked by the anti caravan, tourist and general holiday maker brigade.
Must remember to get out and polish the two fingers that fit to the back of the caravan.
Just to show that I am not of a senceative dispasition I hope you all have a good holiday when you swap hats.

I trust that you had a good caravan holiday in France OWG.

Those without mobile homes, whether towed or driven or pegged out, have no idea of the freedom it gives you - home or abroad :D .
