Roof Vents

Perhaps adjust them so they are "just" open when it falls to 60 this evening, and then check how open they are next time it hits 80 in there?

 

It hit 80 Yesterday Kirsten and they were fully open.

 

But (I think?) you reckoned that they would not be closed at 60F, but rather something quite a bit cooled than that?

I think you should try to trap all heat once it falls to 60F - but also try to have vents fully open by 80F - if that makes sense?

Perhaps the vents will open fully with less than 20F temperature gain - that would be nice

(I couldn't find anything ont he Bayliss site about the temperature difference from closed-to-open)

 

Still monitoring it but its raining and over cast here inside the greenhouse it's 62 f and no sign of opening.

 

Not a very exciting job ... bit like watching paint dry, eh?!!
