Rosas Pet Portraits { Water Colours}

thanks strawman your comments are very much appreciated i guess my pet portraits have always been my favourite subject i just love doing the eyes on the pets, thanks once more

 

this is the sketch i did of bilbo, me and my stick and just finished water colouring it A3 size

I am more comfortable with sketching - I am trying water colours in class and am learning but I struggle a bit!

 

thanks peri and jazmine, i used to just sketch then got into water colours, i do my background first pick a colour then lighten it with white paint and anything with white in it hair i use windsor and newton desighners gouache gives a nice finish to say hair or snow, jazmine iff you want any tips or need to know anything feel free to contact me.
many years ago i was into oil painting and used to sell them locally, i had my own studio.now that ive got into water colours i prefer it.
