Rosas Sketches

Hi Dag,I think you will need to advise me on what sort of frames to get for the sketch and your painting,or do I just go into a frame shop and ask them.i would hate to get the wrong ones

 

dag i didnt realize that about them what can you suggest for a sketch picture, maybe pine, in fact kandy when you get the picture take it with you and you will see what it will look like before you commit to buying a frame.

I am going to get some photo frames for your sketches as appropriate.

Don't be put off of poster frames, but just be aware!

Personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! :D :D

 

dag i took my sketches with me and pine and gold and dark looked awful the only thing that looked nice was the poster frames and black frames :eek:

 

Yes well most photo frames are black aren't they!

I like chunky wood finish frames for paintings, but I think with smalish sketches a neat black frame would be appropriate.

Or change that to suit your decor!

 

quite agree with you as with rosas watercolour you did the gold chunky frame looks fabulous and a thin frame for the sketches.

 

kandy sketched the same one as dag is doing, cant wait to see it in colour it will look great
