    thank you dag,woo, kandy & LoL.
    pleased i,m working with water colours, my skys seem to come out the best with oils i couldnt never get them as good as this.
    My photograph i took has 3 people on the pier think i will put them in the painting walking along the pier.
    I was up until 4 this morning painting st marys lighthouse :D :D

    The one of your friends French cottage is lovely. This is our barn that we're hoping will be a pretty gite one day (budget permitting) and with pretty gardens too of course!
    I can't seem to shrink the picture though, sorry!

    Here is the watercolour Rosa did of Roders superb photo and both agreed to let me have it as a gift [​IMG] The deal was that I put up a pic of it framed and in situ - so here it is. Thankyou both - its gorgeous [​IMG]

    It's beautiful, marge. I have my Almond Blossom winging it's way to me this week and have my frame ready. She's a very talented lady.

    PS and couldn't have been painted other than by our sweetest rosa.

    brought this thread back for strawman to see my water colours, i can see one missing must go through my work see that they are all here. thanks everyone for the lovely comments of my work
