I did reply to AMANDII. I obviously misunderstood the thread about roses in pots. I picture a 9cm poy with a tiny rose in it. My apologies.

Hi @Mike Allen if you look on your reply you only quoted @ARMANDII but if you replied it never went with it mate :)

Everytime i've potted roses in descent size pots they've out growed them in no time...the shoots do take off well

Hi Gail, well, the Commercial Rose Growers around here are not Plant Centers as such. They grow vast fields of roses and sell wholesale, but will sell to the public if asked.:hapydancsmil::snorky:

Hi @Gail_68 She was well chuffed. She would have been pleased how ever it would have turned out. She looks after her plants really well so it’s got a good chance.

                        G.

@Jack Sparrow My conifer was repotted yesterday in that new pot...my hubby drilled about 8 small holes in the bottom, a level of gravel was added to the bottom then multi purpose compost and then getting the conifer out that pot was a nightmare...my hubby pulled it out after forking around the edge and it fitted in the middle sound with quite some extra room but it took the hole bag of compost to fill the pot and then gravel was added on top but they do look nice mate and do their job as @Verdun stated :)

So far so good. Everything is looking healthy. The snowdrops are on their way out but so they are everywhere else. The anemone blanda are looking ok, I did slice them up pretty thin so hopefully next year they will be bolder. The tulips were in leaf when I bought them and they show no signs of slowing down. There is one daffodil that looks ready to bloom. It is of a variety that's been growing on my garden a while. It seems to be taller and later blooming than the tete a tete I planted en masse last autumn. If these don't come out soon I might replace them with tete a tete for next year. At the moment I feel there is too much leaf and not enough colour. The rose itself has some nice fresh shoots on it.
