Rose Parterre...

Hi Nerine,the Rose is Pauls Himalayan musk,a little beauty.Apart from the odd bit of tying in of any unruly stems it's no problem at all .As for the wind,it is in a fairly sheltered spot.

 

Welcome back Loli, how lovely to see you and your beautiful rose parterre. I remember when you started it. Do you still have your chickens ... who I think I remember used to 'interfere' with your rose garden in progress.

 

Ellooo @Victoria .Yes I still have my chooks,only have 3 at the moment but itching to get more.
They've turned into pretty good gardeners and are brilliant for keeping Box moth caterpillars at bay.

Excellent! As others have already said, its really come along in the last few years.

 

The Buxus has had a trim and now just waiting for this years blooms.

 

How lovely and green, Loli. It will be stunning when the roses bloom. A peaceful place to sit and meditate. You have done well ... and beyond. I look forward to more piccies.

Thank you for your kind words,I really am chuffed with it.I'm still trying to master the art of buxus trimming ,trying to get dead straight lines is difficult and it doesn't help when you have chooks that like to tunnel their way through..
