I'm after 'Marjorie Fair' @"M" and these two nurseries have them (bare root) and at a reasonable price. I usually use Cant's of Colchester but their web site is under re-construction at the moment, so alternatively I've emailed them to see if they have it. :)

Ironically I said I wasn't going to have roses in this garden, I already have one and intend to buy two of these but I won't be having a formal rose bed as before. These have a natural sprawling habit and will be planted to help disguise my oil tank.

It is @ARMANDII but they are still available and Spring doesn't start here until April so I don't think there will be a problem planting them. :)

I don't know about optimism Armandii but you and I know as gardeners we have to take chances. The so called 'rules' of gardening are there to be adapted. ;)

I will Beckie but I'll wait on a response from Cant's first, hopefully tomorrow. :)

" Marjorie Fair " is a little beauty Sheal. We got ours from Aldi's last year £1.79.

I have an Aldi here KFF but I wonder what the likelihood is of them selling it two years running? I never go into Aldi because the area that surrounds it is very congested with traffic and I can't be bothered to battle it. Perhaps I should bite the bullet and go take a look. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes it is pretty Gail. :)

@KFF I checked out Aldi but they have no roses at all, perhaps because the bare root season is at and end. I think I may have to wait until autumn now. Thanks again for the heads up.

I might be too late but found this on ebay.

                                I've just ordered 4 myself.
