Just watched the 10 o'clock news headlines, I'm starting to get fed up with it already.

JWK. With you on that.:gnthb: It's been on all day. Helpful for the new g'ment. While they're busy putting everyone out of work, the media won't report it because they are so worried about some Royal nonsense that has nothing to do with normal people. Cambell/Clegg must be wetting themselves. Now, I don't do conspiriously stories, but.....:hehe::skp:

How sad is that ! The media discussing the divorce settlement even before the wedding.
I go back to where I started. I wish them all I would wish any other couple - and that includes peace and privacy.

I is a bit wearing - 13 pages in the Daily Telegraph and not another item of news. Agree with your comment re the divorce discussion Alice but I'm not sure about privacy since the cost to the nation is seriously high for the royal family and I guess the media interest comes with the 'turf' as they say.

Good luck to both of them for the future anyway - if he has half of his mother's compassion and commitment to charity then I'm all for it.

    Well, that ring.

As I understand it that ring was his Mother's engagement ring.
He has given it to his betrothed bride as a token of his love and serious lifelong commitment.

I have gifts from my husband, love gifts handed down through the generations. Given to me in the expectation that the relationship would be lifelong and the gift handed on to the next generation. These tokens may have little monetary value compared with that ring BUT priceless in the family.

I would like to think that if our relationship had broken down I would have handed back the rings and other items that belonged to that family, as a matter of honour - and I wouldn't need some Solicitor to tell me what I had to do.

Is there no sense of honour anymore - or is there a reason why we just can't credit the girl with it.
Please give them a break and let them sort their lives out between themselves.
