Salad leaves.

    Suggest you grow the landcress in containers!

    I grow my cut and come again in tyres. This avoids the too much water problem and rabbits cannot get at them. Tyres are three high. Mainly bricks and polystyrene in bottom 1 and half. Then compost in top 1 and half. They do need watering every day when it is this warm, but i can never overwater them and like i say the rabbits can't reach them. I cut a bag full every three days which feeds me and some friends.

    I grow my land cress and rocket in tyres (picture 1). My pick and come again is in an old bread bin with some radish and spring onion behind it in an old picnic box.

    Just shows that we all basically do the same thing.:D

    Lucky neighbours! I can never understand which pre mixed salads are so expensive. Travel costs maybe? Each bag must cost about 0.001p to grow, someone is making a tidy profit.
