    There is a Purple Toadflax that looks simliar Jiffy, but that grows in drier places like patios.

      Thank you Ziggy. I love the strength it displays, the elegant flower sprires and that gorgeous shade of purple. Yesterday evening,went to quiz night at the Smuggler, Pett Level and opposite the pub is the end of the old Royal Military Canal. Stood on an old bridge to look along the water and saw loads of it in splendid condition.
      I will remember the name now,

      Did you see the bronze hares in the Cathederal grounds.? Used to spend many hours sat there in the summers.. Love the place..
