Spruce the Elder

 

Fancy that Spruce we're just two of a kind, it is lovely though isn't it.

 

"Kristen the Linker" ... hmmm ... not got the same ring, has it ...

I like "Spruce the Elder" though. Short for "Spruce I-own-the-national-collection-of-Elders"

 

This one of my favourite nursery sites (not that I ever buy anything) because if you look in the encyclopaedia section the crusty old nursery owner, Bob, gives a lot of the plants an honest personal score, which makes a refreshing change from the over-blown and totally misleading hype that most seed and plant merchants give you.
He gives Black Tower a 10, which is rare!

 

Didn't see that section Madahhlia but just checked it out and see he gives the one I like an 8
