Santa flying over tonight - visible at 17:22

No luck here as well , to cloudy . We all went outside the pub pointing our mobile phone ISS apps into the west .... not a chance Walking home 2 hours later it was cloudless
Has everyone else got a ISS spotting app on their mobile ? They are absolutely incredible . Although I have yet to see the ISS ! Must make a better effort next year.

Incredible eh?

I've seen it three times now without the aid of a phone app. Ok, that's not quite true. On my old phone which I had last year I used a compass app to give me the exact bearing. This year however I discovered that my current phone, despite being the same series but much newer than my old phone, doesn't support compass apps because it has an inferior orientation sensor, so I had to do it the old fashioned way which involved visualising my location in relation to other known locations and deducing which way was south west. Or perhaps I just have a built in sensor that points my face towards south west, because I know that's where the best cider comes from
