Good morning and thank you shiney for explaining everything so clearly so that we all can understand it properly now.

As to those men in white coats standing behind you, I'm sure they are new Santa helpers. Snow is forecast and the white coats are camoflague.

    Kandy,
There was a very well known author called Douglas Adams (1952 - 2001) who wrote a series of books that became known as the 'Hitchhiker' books. BBC Radio 4 serialised it under the title of the first book 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy'. It became a great hit and has been repeated many times on the radio. They also made a television series out of it and a movie.

In the story they built a super computer called 'Deep Thought' to answer the 'ultimate' question about 'Life the Universe and Everything'! Deep Thought took seven and a half million years to work out the answer and the answer was '42'.

    Don't ask! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Shiney,
I was never interested in the Hitchhikers series on the telly that was more Mr Kandy's department.

I prefer programmes like The Nature of Britain,Walking With Dinasaurs,Spring and Autumn Watch,What the Victorians Did for us,all Gardening programmes,Ancient Egyptians,Time Team, any Astronamy programmes etc plus anything to do with horses and some sports, eg Wimbledon,so I am afraid my Knowledge is vey limited,oh and I have no sense of direction so would be no good as a London Taxi driver :D

Yes roll on Christmas and then the Spring so that we can start sowing our seeds again

YDD What [IMG] it's ok, you can admit santa exists on this site cos no-one believes anything on here anyway. 'outsiders' look on here and think we're all crazy.

that's good, cos we don't want santas secrets getting out do we ;)
