Sat Nav on Your Mobile , Is it Legal ?

    I never "look" at it, relying on verbal directions, I also plan my route before I go if on unfamiliar journey, you can redirect it, when I go Wolves it wants me to go M6 - M54, but if I come off on to M5 through Stourbridge the journey is about the same timewise with about 30 miles saved.

    The only time I use a satnav is when I am going somewhere in my Camper. I do find that the screen has to be looked at now and again to make sure that the wrong turning is not taken.

    Incidentally, Camper style satnavs can have the size of the vehicle programmed in, so they avoid routes that have unsuitable roads that are too narrow for the vehicle, or low bridges, etc.
