Say Hello to Rolly

Don't worry, Aesculus. Cats always go through a manic phase when they first move in. He's just checking the place out. When my cat first decided to move in (he was a stray) he tried to climb inside every fireplace - good job he's completely black. We were working on the house at the time and we had left the hatch to the loft open. So he climbed up there as well and spent an entire night padding backwards and forwards. Every now and then there was a loud crash. He'd discovered some mice. In the morning we found three of them neatly lined up outside the bedroom door. A moving-in gift, I presume. These days, it takes an awful lot to disturb his slumbers. The only thing which gets him going is the vacuum cleaner. He hates it.
