scared twice in same incident

yes thank fully not hurt and no damage to my car, yes it scarpered pronto when they arrived lol but he had stayed against my car for half anhour before that ! Bully

 

well he was dissapointed then ! cause i gave him nothing

 

my manager said his mirror was prob broken and he did it on purpose to get a new paid for !!!

if he had insisted on the cash point thing i would have driven my car straight local police staion

 

That's horrible kaz, these things really upset you (well they do me, not good at conflict)

Most phones have cameras built in these days, or even video ... Start filming them, bet they soon start getting camera shy !

 

yep i have done both of the above , he wouldnt give me his name but the police got it from his car Reg and insurance ( which they informed me is valid ) but when he started shouting and demanding money from me i then refused to give him my name or address and i told the police this, the office said that had been very wise !

 

Jack my husband said the exact same thing about our SKODA you would think if they could afford the car they would pay for the extra's like indicators

it was horrible, i was lucky that i was wise enough to say no, Go back and stay in the car with the doors locked and to phone for assistance, he was standing in front og my car blocking my view so i would have had to get out to take photo I am a coward lol and stayed in the car

 

police said that he was insured also said that his excess would have been more than that the of claim for the mirror so he was prob just trying his luck in getting me to pay for it!

they said that it would be to difficult to prove to CPS that he had demanded money as there were no other witnesses GRRRRRRRRR

yes Jenny it has indeed and i plan on having a short nap (IF i can sleep so rarely can after night shift) followed by a few hours in greenhouse with the grandson

 

I'm afraid certain items most of us take for granted are optional extras on BMWs. You have to go on seperate waiting lists for the following add-ons, so most don't bother.

* Indicators
* Mirrors
* Speedo (like a dial thing with a needle that moves around a scale and points to numbers representing the miles per hour you're doing)
* Variable throttle - although all BMWs have a switched mode (fully on/fully off) throttle as standard

With all these things missing, its understandable that BMW drivers sometimes get an unfair reputation. Imagine spending all that money only to find half the controls you were expecting are actually missing. Then on top of that, imagine driving a car where your head gets stuck fast in the facing straight forward position as soon as you get in, so you have no chance of seeing what's either side of you. BMWs must be terrifying to drive.
