Yes, what Mel Gibson went through was a real bummer.

The locals had the good sense to describe this abomination as 'a lump of c***'.

Wallace Monument - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'The statue was subject to regular vandalism: its face was gouged out, it had paint thrown over it, it was struck with a hammer, and someone chipped off the decapitated head of the Governor of York which had formerly graced the statue's base. As a result it was enclosed in a security fence.'

I'll go along with that ClaraLou. :) It's enough to make Wallace turn in his grave!

I certainly wouldn't have surrounded it with a security fence, I'd have let the locals finish it off. :heehee:

Don't speak Welsh in England, because the fish have Birmingham accent.

                No problem.

Alex Salmond has apparently said that an independent Scotland wouldn't be prepared to take on the Royal Bank of Scotland's debts.

82% of RBS is still owned by UK taxpayers.
