Deet. (Excellent mosquito/midge repellent.) Don't get the jungle strength stuff, though, it will eat its way through your shoes.

 

I'm rhesus negative and I rarely get bitten. Poor OH is followed by a cloud of midges wherever we go. He is obviously very tasty.

PS Useless fact: A higher percentage of Rh-negative people claim to have been abducted by aliens than that of Rh-positive people.

 

Sure I've read that drinking alcohol makes you far more attractive to mozzies.
