I did ring Screw fix last night Dave to tell them it hadn't arrived as expected and they were most appologetic, but thats not much help really.

As for why I want it, I intend digging up my driveway and relaying it, and although I could hire one, this way I can do it at my own pace.
Also I hired one last year and the cost doesn't sound that great, but it only just fits in the back of the car and they're usually full of water when you get them.
Then I cant lift it out the car on my own, and if you have it delivered the price goes up drasticly.

LOL ... I get the Couriers having a go about Screwfix all the time about boxes that have been broken (usually mine !!), and I usually have a go at the people at Screwfix ..... But they do send the missing items straight away. ;)

One thing that has annoyed me about Screwfix, they have changed one of the 'washers', the code is still the same, but it is a different diameter (smaller) than the old one.

Also, try to order from Screwfix over the internet, it gives you a better idea of when your discount is due eg. I was spending £96 or thereabouts once, and by spending another £4, I was due a 6% discount, so for spending £4, I was saving £2 :D

    Nathan.

They sent me a £5 voucher, but I've got to use it before 28 April and spend at least £50.
