    We call them spring onions, but their not. If you refer to them as salad onions, then the myth of spring onions will not stop you planting them.:thumb:

    You would be better off asking the old folk like David and Shiney, I'm too young to know the answer to that.;):D

    I thought everyone knew that ... milk grows on the end of bambmoo canes!

    Heh,heh, The milk bottles are for recycling, when the wind blows it rattles and birds fly off. Everyone on our allotment has now empty milk bottles on sticks .

    TWEAKY I was really thinking of having a cow thered on our allotment for recycling then we wont have to pay for manure.

    They are spring onions in England,sybies in Scotland ,and scallions in Ireland.
