What do we do if we want to donate some seeds but don't know their proper identity? I have loads of big pink poppies, which I think are Opium poppies but don't know what vareity. Their seeds are not quite ready yet, but when they are I'll have thousands to get rid of. Here's a pic of the ones I'm on about.

 

Clueless what us plant breeders tend to do if we don't know the parentage of some of our crosses is we call them" Noids"(no idea) so your poppies would be known as" Pink opium poppy noids".
