Bet your mum didn't teach you that either!
Actually only thing that bothers me is if the dogs eat them, but animals are not usualy so daft.

Honeybee & Jjordie - I sowed Canary Creepers on 29th March and again on 12th April.
Nothing at all showing so I'll try another sowing tomorrow, but this time I'll try them outside the propagator.
    Fingers crossed........

:D My answer re Canary Creepers was a bit 'tongue in cheek' - in case you hadn't realised - I was referring to Norwich City Football Team making rather a poor showing this season! :D :D

I think it is late enough in the season to re name this thread "seeds I have forgotten to sew today".

    Californian poppy
    Godetia
    Cosmos

all of which I just chuck into open ground with gaps - errr if I remember!

today i planted out peas, the ones you eat, that i started in some guttering in the greenhouse :D it was about 2meters long which was about 26 peas in zig zags.seemed like a good idea at the time and was quite easy to manouver into a shallow trench i`d dug out,but was just as easy to put some in that were started in seed trays i was given.also sowed beetroot and spring onion straight in and tomorrow i`m gonna put the last of the taties in,king Edwards.hooray!

I had to grow some Cosmos for one of our head gardeners for one of his borders. The first time I have grown it. I put the seed in mid march, they are now 10/12ins high with flower buds, I thought they were a late summer flowering plant, seems I have sown them too early! [IMG]

My cosmos always make a lovely late Summer display, but I plant them straight into flowering position when the ground warms up but I think it is still too cold here now - I have just come in and put the central heating on!
