Too right there's a nasty cold wind down here!!!!! Haven't been out this year yet without a coat!!!! Usually in our cozzies by now, sunbathing in the back garden........ This time last year we were slapping on the sunblock at a particular Rugby festival my little one plays at - yesterday,at this year's festival, I was just glad someone had given me an old sleeping bag for the dog, as we dragged that out the car and sat huddling under it in the middle of a field in Weybridge....

Now - don't get too excited - but I have 4 - yes 4!!!!!!! Canary Creepers finally decided to make an appearance!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!

Still no sign of life from my two Bananas...(quivering bottom lip)...I think I did kill them.. [IMG]

.... but - my Brugmansia has sprouted from the bottom !!!!! [IMG]

JJordie - The O/H did mention they had done ok last week - bit like my creepers - a last minute dash???

Pumpkin seeds planted on 2nd April started shooting in four days - then they all rotted away! :(
Second lot planted are now doing very well so fingers crossed. [IMG]

Verbina peeping at last - very fast acting cling film!

Also chucked straight into soil some teasles in rough ground, Nigella, rest of the cosmos. godetia and giant icelandic poppy - well we will see what survives.

[IMG] Thanks elainefiz - they won't be planted out until no more frosts! There are 10 plants in all, and perhaps we might use three - haven't got room for any more says o/h.
Others will probably be given away or banished to the compost heap.

Mine are coming on, I've only grown two plants, I'm going to give them the same treatment that I used to use on marrows.
They are about the same size as yours jjordie, mine are now in the cold frame hardening off a bit.
