Which foreigners are we to send to Rwanda? Those who have chosen to come here for economic reasons? Those who are of a different colour to most “native” UK folk? Those who have come here fleeing persecution because of their religion or lifestyle in their own country? Those who entered into ‘a romantic relationship’ with a Brit who is temporarily on holiday or working in their country and followed them back here? Or all of them?

I'm all for invading France again. Don't pull up the drawbridge though, it makes invading France a bit tricky.

Mr Farage is not a particularly nice person, but being nice is not a requirement to be a politician, just look at some of the dubious characters we've had since the English Civil War.

Well, that’s three of Farage’s wives/partners that can be kicked out PDQ then.

As said, Nigel has zero chance of getting enough MPs to form a government. Maybe he and a handful of Reform candidates will get elected which will have no influence in Parliament. The obvious reason why the Tories are frightened is Reform splitting the vote in marginal constituencies, allowing Labour and the Lib Dems to sweep up. The Tories will be decimated, hence why they are spreading as much hate as possible. Quite why the left wing are frightened of Nigel is beyond reasoning.

It's not a beauty contest, nor is it about their personal life which should remain private if they choose.

Just a few of those that have NO RIGHT to come here, once they tell their mates via the messaging apps the others might not be so keen on getting picked up by Border Force or RNLI.

Can't be that bad - they've apparently got a copy of the Blackpool Tower in one of their cities ;)

This is the thing I don't get - as I've mentioned earlier, the party is likely to get a few seats and at the same time could very well ensure that the Tories get the drubbing they deserve. The people that are going to vote for Reform are the ones that quite literally feel politically homeless or are so royally fed up with the way things are, taking a percentage of the vote off the others is something of a protest.

Quite why the entire establishment is trying to do a bit of a number on him is beyond me.

I think they fear the numbers, the system is against reform, but they know if we moved to a PR system it could be a different matter.
It could, just could, look quite embarrassing if the numbers stack up.

Indeed, I think there is a fear in the percentages, rather than seats.

I think there is a genuine fear about the consequences of electing any Reform candidates, so many of them are overt racists. The consequences for race relations in this country are potentially terrifying.
The far right are gaining in power across Europe, who knows what will happen in the USA, we have seen the consequences before, I hope I don't live to see them again.

I think it's wishful thinking they might not be so keen to make the crossing , just like the Rwanda policy, I doubt it will be a deterrent.

According to the UN, 8 countries will behind 50% of the worlds population growth, 5 of those countries are in Africa. DR of Congo is one of the countries, yet it's one of the poorest countries. International rescue organizations have said the country has the highest number of people needing humanitarian assistance 26 million, yet the population growth has exploded.

To think it will be 40 years this year since the song was released by Band Aid, yet humanitarian organisations are saying the country is now in crisis which the world can't ignore. Yet in that time the population has gone from just under 40 million to 129 million, very concerning that some of the poorest countries in the world are soon going to be in the top 10 most populated.
