Agree, even Keir Starmer has pretty much said exactly the same earlier this year in an interview.

Sir Keir said: “I’ve got a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl and I worry. I think any parent, particularly with teenage children, worries how safe they are on the streets.

I would be more concerned if they weren't worried, as then they are not likely to address the issue.

Universities are just a cesspit of cult ideology and mental health issues now. Parents can't even teach their kids the word 'No', nevermind protect them against the above.

Socialism thrives amongst those that have never worked a day in their lives

 

University students have all ways been a bit odd IMV.
I think they feel need to rebel against everything and everybody, if you dont you wont fit in.

It takes a few years after university before they get it out of their system and some become normal thinking people.
Others dont progress and remain odd.

 

I like to think that I’m one of the latter.

 

Certainly not my experience of uni … nor that of younger relatives … niece and nephew left uni a few years ago and are now busy running a business and another niece is graduating next month … having just done the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for charity and will be going to Sandhurst in September.

But don’t all young folk rebel? It’s what youth is for . There were beatniks, Teddy boys, mods and rockers then hippies … plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
