Campaigners rather than a candidate in that case @Fat Controller … but that doesn’t answer my question as to why that campaigner felt he should be campaigning for Reform. His views are vile and racist and he advocated murderous acts that are illegal across most of the world.

I believe it was candidates, not campaigners, but I could be wrong.

Correct on his views, without question. As pointed out, there is someone standing to be a Labour MP that was found to be racist (and apologised for it) - so these individuals can surface attached to ANY party.

The news is reporting it as campaigners - it is on the BBC website, but part of one of those 'live' things that they do, so you have to scroll to find it.

I'm afraid to watch the Trump/Biden debate. Was it really that bad? It looks like there's real possibility that Trump will be elected

There's always been that possibility. Biden was incoherent at best. Trump's a convict yet both of their parties present them as the finest shining example.
          World politics is a cesspool.

I think you have already answered it, why do you assume that those that do vote for these parties are vile.

I am not surprised that right and far right wing parties are becoming more popular, its the tone of language and insults that gets thrown about instead of listening to their views and opinions, some people just really don't know how to engage with other people.

I generally don't think people vote Reform because they believe they are the solution, but to despise the other side for the insults.

It's a pity that Trump wasn't doing his usual rambling stream of delerium too.

Unpopular opinion (seems I am good at those!) - Biden is an unwell man. I find it utterly abhorrent that his family are not stepping in somehow to get him out of the limelight and into a peaceful retirement. Never easy to admit that a loved one is ill/impaired, of course - but when he is the guy with responsibility for some codes that could pretty much end the world as we know it...

After seeing Biden on the news you have to ask if he will still be around come voting time.

I think he will make that - I am wholly unsure if he would, however, see out another term.

Apologies, @Fat Controller, it appears it was canvassers, although that is not much better.

Anyone who supports a Party that is: Racist, misogynist and believes that supporters of Islam should be forcibly removed from the country, is without doubt vile.
There is no other way to dress it up, why should other people want to listen to these views?

Don't know, not least as I don't really understand the US system. Globally, politics is a disaster zone - and therein is why people like me are mega pee'd off with the lot of them. These are the people that will quite happily make decisions that affect our day and daily lives, decisions that can send our children and grand-children to war and all the while raping our wallets to pay for it.

I absolutely did not say that all people who Vote Reform are vile … I know that they are not … what I asked was why are people who hold such vile views drawn to Reform?

I spent some years living near to Nick Gri££in and his family when he was a National Front member and then Chair of the BNP … they held weekend camping rallies in the next village to us. The behaviour of the people who attended was appalling … Nazi flags, propaganda and pseudo military gear … their behaviour towards women and girls who lived in the village was frightening. I know the sort of people who were in the BNP … now do you see why I’m so horrified that an ex BNP member feels at home in Reform?
