You're right @silu, the weather has been fantastic with just a few days of rain.....and a few frosts. The trees that surround my abode look wonderful in their autumn colours.

That's because @ARMANDII the first one was taken in transit to Ullapool, the second one was taken at Ullapool, 55 miles from Inverness. I'll post those pics when I've caught up with the rest of GC.

Welcome back @Sheal . See you have had your box brownie working hard since you have arrived up here. Great shots as per usual from you.
Getting colder, burner on tonight but can't complain as no proper frost yet and Dahlias still in full bloom. I honestly cannot remember Autumn colours being so good. Photo below is of 1 of my 3 Sorbus Sargentiana ( Planted about 5 years ago and will be my last purchase of trees...getting too !). My favourite trees I think. Glad you are back on line and look forward to hearing how things are going.

 

Thanks Silu. The box brownie hasn't been out as much as I'd like it to be but we're gradually settling in so I hope to get out and about a bit more now. Up until now we've been struggling with 'red tape' and the nightmare which is KYC. It's taken us over a month to open a bank account, let alone all the other things that have to be transferred from the island. The lack of internet until now hasn't helped!

Your tree is stunning and you're quite right the colours this autumn are amazing. I must get some shots before it all disappears.
