Sal, any swapping of plants done between GC members is purely a private swap between themselves. Nothing need be given to the charity.

Any spare plants that you wish to donate to our plant stall will be sold for the charity.

We are always happy to take spare books for the book stall but we normally find that the only ones that sell easily are novels in good condition. We do manage to sell some non-fiction but they need to be popular books. Most people that come along are coming to see the garden and to buy plants, so we rarely get book enthusiasts.

 

I think, Sal, we're getting side tracked a bit over the contribution of plants as I think most of the contributions from members will go straight into the general sale, apart from those swaps agreed privately by members.
Shiney, would you put me down for the Evening Meal as I forgot to confirm that with you. Last years meal was very good and a bit of a larf!!!

 

Your wish is my command - within reason!
