I don't know if I like the sound of that! Uploading the contents of my brain for some hacker to steal in the future! I think they'd be very disappointed. :loll:
Seriously though......I don't think I'd want my knowledge to go on, it's mine and I'd want it to remain that way. Which is why we all have individual, unique brains that store what that particular brain considers to be useful, to the person it's within.

This subject is heavy and it's getting to me!

:love30: If you write something on the net, it will be visible to your great great grandchildren as if it was written today.

Didn't think I was speaking in "gibberish" Dai? Just normal English as far as I could see?

I think you made it a bit more complicated than it needs to be, even to this doubter!

If we ask the question "Should there be an after life", what form that after life takes the form is an extension of the original question and really is another question.

So if we stick to the original question which basically asks whether you think your soul/spirit should continue after mortal life, and that normally means in the other world or supernatural sense, then surely that makes the question simpler. Your own inner self can say Yes or No to such a question.

I've kept very quiet so far in both discussions in relation to this subject, mainly because it's a subject that is very close to my heart and one that has touched me on many levels throughout the whole of my life, both good and nasty. My experiences are really to be placed within the spirit thread, which I may do so at some stage when I feel ready.
But as far as an after life goes and this thread, I don't hold with the opinion that we are reincarnated. I wouldn't question anyones belief and feelings that we are though, as none of us can be certain, and I totally respect the opinions of those who feel that we are.
I believe that our life cycle is just the start. How we do or what we do has no bearing on what happens next, we just are who we are. I simply feel that we are energy, and when our bodies give up, our energy simply and naturally moves onto another level. Perhaps its a form of evolution; who knows.
There is so much that we don't know about ourselves, and I believe that over time with our self made quest to wreck the world and our desire to live in a totally materialistic way and rush to the grave, we have lost something very major.
The abilty to to sense and feel what is around us.
Just to give just one example. Approx four years ago, I was told that one of my uncles was going to die and that I would know when it happened.
I didn't really think that much more about it, then some months later while away on holiday, I woke to the smell of ciggerette smoke in the room and looked up to see a dark figure walking away and then vanish. Instantly, I knew that at that very moment my uncle had died. I was out of contact with home, but when I returned I was told that as I had known, my uncle had died. He had died at exactly the same time and date as I had been made aware.
I'm not sure really what I am trying to say, other than events such as this, only strengthen my belief that there is far more to us, than what we know or understand.

By pure chance, I found this posted up on another forum today, and thought that I would share it with you.:sunny:
