One previous cat here was similar, like putty with me but attacked any dog in sight. I saw her chase a fox terrier out of the garden with his tail between his legs, and I've seen her making a Great Dane tremble and cower by the side of his owner. She changed personality completely and became a vicious monster if she saw a dog.
She lived to be 23 Years old !

 

We had Penguin, a black and white, who was brought up next door to a Labrador and a Rottweiler. She used to tromp all over the Lab and the Rottie would come over and wait for her to come out to play. She used to sit upright balancing on her tail, hence her name (we originally called her Tuppence Hap'ny.). She did not like people though.

When she was a babe and the toilet in the cottage when we bought it, obviously before renovation.

I've got a toilet like that even after renovation.
Mine's not blue though.

 

Thank you Michael. Penguin was our first babe in the UK. She just died in T'other Half's lap in front of the fire when she was 13.

 

She reminds me so much of my elder sister's cat when we were children, hers was black and white and called Dinky as she was very petite. Mine had tortoise shell colouring( not sure if she was true) and I called her Trixie. Fond memories, how we loved them both.

 

In America Black and White cats like Penguin are referred to as Tuxedo cats! Tortoiseshell are lovely ... so are Calico ... and Tabby (called Tigre here) ... and Ginger (called Yellow here) ... and ...

Can you guess I like cats ...

Andrea, if that is Henry and Merlin, I thought Henry was Ginger and plump? Or do you have a third furry?

Yes, another of my projects Michael. This has metallic thread so shines when the sun hits it. That grey velvet throw on the corner is to stop the sun fading the sofa.
