My little girl had a pamper session on Friday with her best friend. Was able to do some quiet time gardening and lawn cutting at the customers property who owns her best friend.
Picked them both up and back to the garden where they played non stop and did their best at pulling up a few plants :)

So, we got a new puppy! There are pictures in here I THINK of Rollo, our Dalmatian. We recently bought an Australian Shepherd (My SO loves to compete), so here are a few pictures.

Just to clarify with this picture: I caught him mid-sprint before he bowled over the pup. He likes to throw his weight around, and weighing 20kg more, he could hurt him!

It's good to see you back Mad Hatter. :)

You've obviously been busy with the dogs. Your new addition is gorgeous and he/she is the same breed as my son's dog. :)

I noticed your pup still has his tail. In America they dock them because they are apparently frail and break easy. That's where my son lives. :)

          Thankyou!! I've been incredibly busy!

I've just had a look at the pictures in that thread, he's gorgeous! Emma (My SO) agreed that they have the same face.

Yeah, I've heard and seen that they do it in America, I don't think it's legal here though! I wouldn't do it unnecessarily anyway!

Rollo has been falling asleep all day. This just happened to be when he sat on the deck chair next to me. He thinks he's a human.

image.jpg Here is Poppy sister of Willow who we lost two years ago.She also has an Overactive Thyroid,High BP,Kidney disease and has been losing weight again due to her thyroid levels going up and down and then us having to keep changing the dosage of meds under our vets instructions. She is now 12 and not sure how much longer we shall have her for and I know that when she does finally go over the rainbow bridge we shall both be heartbroken but as her and her brother were both feral kittens when we rescued them then at this age she has had a good life although would have liked them both to have gone on a lot longer:sad:

Here is another one of her.... image.jpg

Just a quick update to say that we had to let Poppy go last Thursday evening.Poppy continued with her medication until last Monday when she decided that she didn't want any more having already lost another 1/2lb in weight at the cattery while we were away.Anyway despite me trying lots of different types of morsels (Chicken,Turkey,Tinned Salmon,Wet food)we found that she would eat a little and then would turn her nose up at the rest of it.Coupled with that she couldn't keep any food or cat milk/water down and was either throwing it up or losing it through a tummy upset out the other end if you get my drift.

I rang the vets on Thursday morning to book her in and so Mr Kandy took her to see the vet.He had a form to fill in and then took her in to see the vet.The vet weighed her and she had lost another 1 lb in weight which brought her weight down to 4 1/2lb which the vet said was too low.Her thyroid gland had grown to the size of a grape and should have been the size of a grain of rice. The vet examined Poppy and said her kidneys had shrivelled to nothing.Anyway Mr Kandy stayed with her (I couldn't go as I would have been too upset:cry3:)and the vet was very gentle with her and she went quiet quickly and painlessly and they are going to let us know when we can pick up her casket:cry3:

RIP Poppy we had twelve good years with you and you will always be with us wherever we are...:cry3:

Here are our gruesome twosome, Sooty is the back one and Mickey in front. Both came as strays and just wouldn't go away! - Sooty is about 15 years old and Mickey 8 or 9.
