My Twitches looks a lot like your guy @Lynd and he sleeps like that most often too. In the picture it is Teddy to the left and Twitches to the right. and a matching couch.

 

Hey, he does! Think Twitches has more spots either side the black stripe on his back than Cecil (fat cat/sausage), my boy is quite stripey! Lovely though and they blend in well, I'd be worried about sitting on them!

Love your Westies Ian. I had one for thirteen years, sadly she's long gone but I still miss her. I heard a Westie won Crufts this year, a good choice.

this is my maggie! margaret when shes been naughty, marge when shes being silly, and just plain old maggie the rest of the time. if only she'd stop eating the plants in my garden! i dont mind the odd weed but the problem is then she's sick! i have to dig up and isolate half the garden in the hopes she won't be sick - and then my garden doesn't look fab and I have to do some serious groundwork! anyone else have this problem with their pesky pets?
