Sarafi Isn't our cat but thinks he is! :heehee: He seems to be slightly different from your two.

He's a Lynxpoint Snow Bengal but yours seem to be Seal Mink and Seal Sepia Snow Bengals in your photos. I think the main difference, apart from with whom they have been crossbred, is that Lynxpoints retain the clear blue eyes into adulthood.

                              P1190763.JPG

I've no idea what other differences there are :noidea:

He definitely likes snow and was out playing in the 7" the other day. He's also happy in the rain and quite often comes out of his warm cosy (heated propagator) place in the greenhouse to wander round the garden in the rain. Even when he accidentally gets sprayed with the hose when watering the greenhouse he just gives a miaow of disapproval, shakes himself and just settles back down. :)

The Snow's have blues eyes - yes. Whereas our 2 have green, and are defined as "Silver" and "Brown rosetted".

By all accounts the Silver originate from North Asian Leopard cats, whereas the "rosetted" originate from the south. I think the Snows are derivations of the North. The domestic Bengal didn't come into being (crossed with domestic cats) until the mid 70's.
Common characteristics, on the whole - they are "talkative and loud", prolific jumpers & climbers, b***rs for hiding in (or destroying) boxes, bags, etc, love water, and they get on well with dogs as opposed to other cats. It's true they can be vicious with wildlife up to the size of rabbits (They have had bad press for this), and have territories up to 2 or 3 miles!! Fortunately, Sago (the silver) is too idle to go hunting (well he hasn't brought any home - yet), and doesn't stray too far.

If your "permanent visitor" doesn't display any of these characteristics, then count yourself lucky! haha
