silu is correct. He's a Snow Bengal. (@Chesterfieldgardener's cat is a different breed of Bengal)

He's not our cat but spends most of his day in and around our garden. He spends a lot of time in our heated propagator or on 'his' shelf in the greenhouse. I understand he cost somewhere around £600 as a kitten.

He has every reason to be nervous hahaha. I'm assuming he is unsure if they would tear around the house with the potential of knocking precious ornaments, etc., off shelves; drive you scatty with demanding, constant "talking/ yowling" - including thinking it's ok to demand attention at 4am; climbing on to high places, and into every cupboard that's not locked... they will do all or any combination of those, plus too many other things to list! Has he thought about a tortoise? ;) As for 2 Bengals.. what was I thinking of!!!?

Yes to all, but it's when they jump on things and especially close by.

I can't claim this is ours, it belongs to our youngest son and his partner. She calls it her "fur baby."
                His name is Ted.

He's very bright. If he wants to go out for a wee, he rings a bell that's by their kitchen door.

Hello @Doghouse Riley nice to hear from you. Ted is a lovely boy. Some people have a dog instead of children.

Thanks for that, it's true what you say, but she acknowledges the fact that Ted's a substitute, by calling him her "fur baby."
She's a divorcee and does have a grown up daughter, but was unable to have more kids with our son.
Here's the whole family from Ted's perspective.

I agree, but not always the term used for them.

Has it started climbing the curtains yet? :heehee:

                              Very cute kitten.
As for climbing the curtains, we had a pet squirrel for a few years. That could climb the curtains and in the days of mini-skirts my wife's tights when it wanted to sit on her shoulder, it never laddered them.
It'd sit on her lap, curl up and use its tail as a blanket. If you checked to see if it was a sleep and moved its tail and it wasn't, it'd look at you, then put its tail back where it was.

back @ Logan: (tried it once and didn't like it...)

I love the TV adverts (mostly "household / cleaning products") where they say "Keep away from children...". Of course, my response is, "I try my best to..." ;)
