Thank you, yes tis our garden, it's been a good year for the cornflakes under the tree

Yes, we do, its still in the big shed. Just got too busy this year to drag it out. Maybe I can see a way to set it up. So sweet you remember .

 

My word some of you start early. I tend to wait till about a week before Xmas then take them down the week after hogmanay,

 

We start St Nicholas Day, 6 December, and take down/shut off the Twelfth Day, 6 January. I really wouldn't bother much but T'other Half does it all. I would just have the ribbons on the door and bureau.

 

This has really cheered me up. Love it .

The dec's go up here on the 4th Sunday of Advent - which this year was the 27th November. Only modest - a colour changing fibre optic Christmas tree and a model light up village. My Grandma's small red Christmas tree in on top of the TV in the lounge.

Christmas is ramping up in Church - we attend 'virtually' the Chester Cathedral services. They broadcast live on Youtube if anyone fancies dropping by for some peace of mind in these turbulent times.

Don't put lights outside, just in the windows.

This is new, it's on top of a shelf unit.
