One of my 2 Clivias is producing a new flower! I was most surprised to see it starting to emerge from the centre of the leaves a few days ago! But it doesn't look like it's going to be as high up on the plant as the flower head that finished a couple of weeks ago.

This is a cutting of mine given to friends which they have now cut to half height and is on their balcony year round. My Momma Plant has lived in The Jungle Room for 22 years.

My Clivia has also opened its flowers - as least as far as they can because the scape has not grown far enough out of the centre of the leaves!

Yesterday I got the present of a lovely Kalanchoe plant from my son! Though it was Mother's Day here yesterday every year on March 19th (whatever day of the week it falls on!) is Father's Day in Spain. As our 3 kids were born & brought up in Spain (where my wife is from & where I lived for nearly 30 years) they continue to celebrate Father's Day on March 19th. Two of our 3 live here in the UK & so we get Mother's Day & Father's Day presents twice a year! :yay::whistle:

The plant you can see behind the Kalanchoe, a 'Flamingo Lily' (Anthurium) also came from our son & may have been a present for Father's Day here in the UK in June last year!
