I know a few people who have bought from there now and they're more than happy - all seed is "grown" and harvested on site and sold fresh (which is important on a few things).
Passiflora is almost a way of life to some people. Far more diverse than I ever thought too..............

I took a few Nepenthes cuttings last spring and five rooted, but to be honest the plants have not grown many traps as yet and they dont look very interesting.
But one has decided to flower, and guess what?..........its not very interesting:biggrin:

      But here it is, anyway.

          I liked the sentiment.
I was about to say (before lil bros turned up) pete - as long as it has an attractive Pitcher the flowers don't really matter!

I was recently given a Gasteraloe which had a small spike emerging. The spike has grown well but most of the blooms have blasted (too warm?), which is a shame as they're quite nice................

            Trouble is it dont.
Now I might be wrong but Nepenthes have lower and upper pitchers, the lower ones are often the best.
Once the plant reaches a certain size the pitchers change.

I took my cuttings from a mates plant that was pretty big.
I appear to have cuttings that are growing on as if upper growth, ie. the flowers also.

Much the same as my understanding, although the ones at OBG continue to produce the lower pitchers. But your point about cuttings makes a lot of sense. Bit of a downer that.

Hoya carnosa - first buds of the season just starting to break. There are around 15 old flower stems and a few new ones all budding up. I can almost smell them already!

Echium candicans is only overwintering inside under some low level grow lights - so I wasn't expecting it to flower.

Longk - I love those Strelitzias flowers - and am dying to have my own perform.

I can't exactly remember the age of the Echium - I have a number. But its just over two feet tall and I suspect starting its third year. It doesn't, of course, have the huge spikes like E. pininina but rather lots of small ones over quite a long period of time. And it doesn't die after flowering, which marks it highly in my book.

I know that feeling! I grew mine from seed and waited seven years!

Now I'm the one who's getting impatient!

I would have been glad of it! Instead, I was freezing my bits off getting a classic Merc going that one of our customers found in a lock-up.
