    Thanks for info on Queens tears Redstar. I want to purchase the variegated form and try growing one in the branches of my Trachycrpus . All good fun, that's what its all about.

    Ours has survived over 20 years in a cold greenhouse but we've never put them out in the winter.

      It would have probably survived last Winter as it was a mild one but several frosts would cause severe leaf damage and as the flowering time is Winter/Spring, bud or flower damage may also occur.

        I guess I could add the location of all my house plants is in the garden room. The garden room is not kept as warm as the rest of the house, usually about 60 degrees. It has 9 windows, so lots of light comes in, and two peak windows. Our main house temp. is about 74 degrees.

          I divided my Billbergia up in the summer and that has started blooming too...............

          Despite being grown next to the mother plant it is nowhere near as floriferous............

          Impatiens kilimanjari is back in bloom too................

              I have Echeveria purpusorum, glauca, setosa diminuta and secunda but none in flower yet.

                Haworthia odetteae in bloom.................

                It's a lovely small Haworthia which was grown from seed and sent to me by @Sirius - thanks :blue thumb:

                  A type of Begonia. This plant is about 3 feet wide and 2 feet tall. Mounds and droops over the side of the pot. Probably need to thin it this summer. [​IMG]
