Always, Freddy, I ran out of space years ago but still seem to buy plants and then try the impossible by finding somewhere to plant them:dunno::wallbanging::heehee:

So many plants, so little space. My B-I-L and his wife are moving soon, to a house not far from us. They will have a 100’ x 30’ level garden with virtually nothing in it. Envious?

Well, we should be but then, when you think about all the enjoyment that our own gardens have given us:love30:, and still do, then maybe not:heehee:
My garden is about 93' wide and just over a 100' in length, with a gentle slope away from the House where the bottom, and the Wildlife pond, is about 2' lower and I wouldn't swap it for anything as it has too many memories entwined in it.
But I hope your Brother in Law and family are gardeners and have many years making a new garden that will bring them lots of smiles and happiness whenever they're out there in it.:love30::thumbsup::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Hiya Mike. Apologies if you have already, but would you like to share some pics of your garden please? In the past, I’ve not been overly keen on roses, but as time has gone on, I’ve grown to appreciate them.

Hi Freddy. To be honest. My garden is not much to look at at the moment. Perhaps if my health improves and local conditions take a turn for the better, who knows.

Amandii. Thank you for posting the photos.

The last two, for this year, of the ordered Bearded Iris from France arrived today with a bonus free Bearded Iris:hapydancsmil:

                      "Splashacata"

                      "Celestial Explosion"

                      and the free one "Futuriste"

I didn't, to be honest, expect another free rhizome and, while it's very welcome, the wooden tiered bench is only designed to take sixty eight 7.5litre pots so I'll have to think of some way to squeeze another pot on the bench.:dunno::heehee:
Brexit might, next year, pose another problem if the EU requires more paperwork and up to an added 40% tax from the French plant growers which they will have to pass onto customers abroad. Which means they will not be happy with the EU:gaah: about losing virtually all the UK business just for political reasons.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

If I’m honest, for some reason they (Iris) don’t really float my boat, but I have to say, those are lovely.

You're right, Freddy, we gardeners are passionate about some plants and not others. I'm more of a "flower man", myself than I am a "Foliage" man
                          [IMG]
So things like Heucharas really don't raise any interest in my gardening senses. It was only the fact that Noisette very kindly sent me a great number of her Bearded Iris rhizomes that, when they flowered, I was just amazed by the sheer size and beauty of them. They really only flower from May to July, a bit like Peonies, but I like the challenge of getting them to flower regularly and well in large pots. Other types of Iris don't, for some reason, really get me that interested as Bearded Iris do.:dunno::scratch::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Bought some pansies and viola on a whim, never had them before, I think I need to learn to have a closer look before I buy:heehee: 40 delft blue viola and 40 pansy freefall white but they are very small plugs so i will need to pot them all on.

I've worked out how to get another complete pack of fittings free of charge (free is my favourite price) :dbgrtmb:

That'll keep me in spares until it falls to pieces.
