I rescued this Angelonia from a well known shop where it was dying a slow death, and I hope to keep it over winter in a shelter. It's a tender perennial :-

And also these two Begonia Rex which I was able to divide into more plants :-

I have identified the last one as 'Indian Summer' It looks the nearest I can find to that variety.

Had a delivery of compost today so I can start potting up the plug plants and some bacopa cuttings.

To be honest it's a lot more than I'd normally buy, I'm a little concerned with the covid situation at the moment so I thought I'd get it while there's plenty around.

That was a good decision, mazambo, as I reckon that next years prices will shoot up so you've probably saved a lot of money.

Wickes normally have a 15%/20% discount offer around Black Friday, but in recent years it's been restricted to 'click and collect' orders and large minimum order values like £100, which might be a lot of compost for some people, plus being c&c you can't select bags from pallets still wrapped in polythene and risk getting stuff that's been soaked with autumn rains.

              And this year isn't normal.

I sold one of those, brand new - with waterproof cover, last year at our Open Garden for £25. People and businesses quite often drop things in and say to sell them for whatever you can get. Wheel barrows, butler sinks etc.

I saw this at half price in a local shop. I couldn't leave it there on its own could I !! :dunno::heehee: DSCF4309.jpg

I've never had any luck with them in the past but I thought I'd have another try .... one never knows, this time I might be successful.

That looks lovely clanless, if it doesn't fit your welcome to send it to Ramsgate.

It should fit - unless there has been a massive administrative cockup with my measurements - which unfortunately has happened to me before...
