They like well drained soil and come back every year

 

Actually, Chrysanths do well here. Always sell them on All Souls Day, 1st November ... for graves. See Sellers at Cemeteries. That is good!

I just can't help myself. The Hibiscus mutabilus (Confederate Rose) rooting arrived Friday (two instead of one) so I planted them in small terracitta pots. So yesterday I ordered two unrooted cuttings (a brave risk for me) of Hibiscus schizapelatus ...

... and a rooted cutting of Hibiscus megapotanicum, which I had many years ago and lost) possibly for a hanging basket ...

 

The two above arrived safely , have the Hibiscus schizapelatus rooting in water and have planted the Hibiscus megapotanicum. The Hibiscus mutabilus (Confederate Rose) are doing well. On Monday I ordered a Begonia rex Maui Mist/Merry Christmas small plant from Spain. It arrived safely on Thursday and is reviving from its boxed journey ...

 

So pretty Vicky, lovely colourations.

 

Finally decided to get a rain gauge, not that we expect any till the end of the month/first of December. Was under a fiver and arrived today.

 

Haven't got a hydrangea in the garden. Saw this beauty in the 'final reductions' section after finishing brunch at the local garden centre - £15.

 

Lovely. I have never seen a red one.

I ordered this baby Adenium obesum from The Canary Islands well, I think it is this actual one but we'll see ...

 

Oh dear, I need saving from myself. I have ordered two more Adenium from my Supplier in Spain who has more available and the following from who I think is her partner., who I have bought from also. I had heard of this but have never seen it for sale before today.
