This is it - in place and with some Marigolds. Standard size pot so simply popped in the flowers from another pot.



I'm quite pleased with the look. I'll have to keep an eye out for other colours. Some Crystal Palace Lobelia would look fab in a blue themed pot.

 

Looks great and good value.

 

Just purchased this for the front garden. The current led floodlight doesnt look good.

 

Is it gas.

 

I thought that it would lend a certain sofistokated ambulance to the front garden. Its plastic as well

Having another go with Mandevilla, its been quite a few years since I last bought one, the last attempts never made it through the winter.

Just purchased these from Morrisons - £2.50 - on offer at the moment.

 

I ordered these small ceramic pots from China last Wednesday the 12th and they have arrived ... I think through a drop ship in Portugal. There are 10 different shapes/styles. At $6-odd a piece freepost I think I may order another one ... or two!

 

I have at least three pairs of those. They are brilliant as they are so cheap it doesn't matter when they are forgotten lying around. Every spring a pair or two re-appears from somewhere

The rubber handle cover tends to slip and rotate but it really doesn't matter- they get the job done.

 

Must be inflation as I bought 3 pairs from Morrisons a few years ago, end of season sale, £1 each.
Noticed that Morrisons around my way had shut down its tempory summer garden centre part already, so that's a sure sign summer is over.
It was nice while it lasted, well a couple of weeks anyway.
