Must confess that I'm converted since stumping up for Netflix. Good variety and the option of watching an entire series over the course of a few days (at your own pace and time of choosing) is a no brainer.

I have a vertical line (and compass direction label) on my Cycads as it is important that the pot is not rotated when they flush (otherwise the foliages grows all crooked), so in case some kind-meaning TWIT!! moves it I can re-rotate it back to its original compass heading :)

Mine is now planted out (and covered with a straw-wrap over winter)

That's 'coz you haven't got a Media Room mate. QED!

The tubers arrived this morning - good flowering sized and firm.
Nice touch was the five Zephyranthes bulbs they put in for free. I know nothing about them and they may be below flowering sized bulbs, but still a nice touch!

Were all your pressies from the Spanish eBay seller? (Forgotten his UserID for the moment, but I have bought from him in the past)

I'm tempted to follow your lead :)

That's the one, thanks for the reminder. Bit of a lottery dealing with him, as [as I understand it] he is selling the "rejects" on eBay - but whatever you get its a bargain, as is the cost of carriage.

Popped to the garden centre for slug pellets which were desperately needed, and got a couple of other bits and bobs.

Now, in my defence, I was allowed to go without adult supervision; they weren't expensive; and they are mostly for Mrs C.

                          Anyway, I bought these:

                          Radish Flamboyant

Radish Rosso Gigante (my Italian is non-existent, but I read that as gurt big radish?)

                          Coriander

Celery - tips on blanching would be gratefully accepted as these are not self blanching?

Leek Gigante D'Inverno - again, I know no Italian, but read this as gurt big leek?)

All for a very reasonable £1.85 a packet.

Guess what I am up to tomorrow? :snork:

Couldn't resist a couple of dahlia tubers from wilko's half price £0.50p each.

I am kinda short on space admittedly - going to have to start getting stuff planted out soon. I will sow and keep the coriander indoors on the kitchen windowsill, the celery and radishes I will sow direct, and the leeks will either germinate indoors or maybe even outside.
